Driplocked Studios® is a contemporary fashion studio whose design practice operates at the intersection of research-driven design, cultural relevance and adaptability within modern streetwear and broader fashion settings. Driplocked Studios® aligns with subcultures that question imposed structures and procedures, where forcing all ideas into a fixed format ( ”putting round pegs in square holes”) are understood not as processes, but as disruptive elements that distort creativity.

In our language, garments can be translated as modular elements capable of reconfiguration and reinterpretation without losing their material function or meaning. This adaptability allows the work to move across cultural settings while resisting fast-paced trends.

Rooted in New Delhi, India, the studio exists in close proximity to a deep textile culture and heritage which adds an underlying layer of attention to material and making. Our creative discipline revolves around navigating cultural waters through filtration of the broader cultural landscape, engaging with design practices across time and continents, spanning archival and contemporary work.

What remains is a focused output shaped through a selective framework guided by our material choices, fit and proportion, durability, finish and long-term direction.

The studio’s work is grounded in utilitarian design principles, shaped by a sensitivity to form, structure, and use. Influences drawn from designers such as Rei Kawakubo, Raf Simons, and Martin Margiela complement this approach. Raw silhouettes, functional tailoring, and signs of wear are used deliberately, allowing material and structure to communicate meaning over time.
